Housing Rates: 2015-2016

The 2016-2017 Housing Rates have been announced. Please review the 2016-2017 Housing Rates  Document to view the detailed rates.

Making Payments

Housing and Dining fees are made directly to the Student Financial Services.  

Fall 2016 bills are due August 10, 2016.

Spring 2017 bills are due January 11, 2017.

 

Charge Adjustments: 

Any meal plan or assignment change that occurs during the academic year is prorated on a weekly basis. If a change in your meal plan or assignment generates a credit or debit, that change will be reflected on your Student Account.   

Students who request room/building changes should be aware of rate differences and meal plan requirements when making requests to avoid unexpected charges.


Students living in the Residence Halls are required to purchase one of the following meal plans. Apartment residents may choose a meal plan if they wish, however it is not mandatory.

Apply for 2016 Summer Housing!

Good news!  Applications for 2016 Summer Housing will be accepted beginning on April 19, 2016 through the Housing portal, located on the myHeliotrope link. Summer Housing is available from Monday, May 23, 2016 through Saturday, August 6, 2016.  Purchase College students can opt to stay for the whole summer or a shorter period of time, as long as you are registered for summer courses throughout the summer.

To help answer questions you may have about Summer Housing, a list of Frequently Asked Questions has been provided below.

1. Where do summer residents live and what is the cost?

Summer residents live in The Commons.  The weekly cost per person for summer school students is $295 for an apartment double. We do not have any single rooms in The Commons.  All summer housing costs are charged by the full week.  All summer billing will be completed through Student Financial Services.  There are no meal plans for the summer sessions, as you will have a full kitchen to utilize in your apartment. You MUST be enrolled in Summer school during your time of stay within Summer housing.  

2. What is the deadline to apply for Summer Housing?

The deadline to apply for Summer Housing is one day before the last summer session begins which is July 10, 2016. You must be enrolled in Summer courses in order to take advantage of Summer housing.

3. Is there a summer housing deposit required with the application?

Yes, we require a $50.00 housing deposit for summer housing for summer school students.  

4.  If I take classes for one session can I live on campus the entire summer?

No, you will only receive housing for the summer session you are enrolled in.
