In April 2006, for the first time in the College’s history, Purchase will hold a Spring festival, entitled, “Purchase Wide Open Festival”.  The festival is intended to be a celebration of Purchase culture (what we do both in and out of the classroom/studio).  The theme for this year (the first year of what will be an annual event) is “Proof of Passion”.  All events in the month-long festival will tie in to this theme.  The festival will take place in the month of April, and will include three sections:

1. A major event from each School and Conservatory, as well as the Neuberger Museum and the Performing Arts Center.

2. Emerging Artists and Scholars (selected Senior Projects)

3. The "Fringe" Festival (selected miscellaneous events)
