Plug Into Purchase

Experience Purchase...

Plug Into Purchase is a series of experiential learning activities throughout Welcome Days(September 2nd & 3rd) offered to all new students at Purchase College. 

New students will have an opportunity to choose from a variety of Plug Into Purchase activities to connect with the Purchase College Community. Some of the Plug Into Purchase activities offered during Welcome Weekend are: An Orientation event on the Lawn.jpg

  • Exploring Purchase's student-run facilities
  • Indoor Rock Climbing
  • Yoga
  • Purchase Nature Walk
  • Salsa Dancing
  • Dodgeball
  • Purchase Arts & Crafts
  • Swing Dancing

Plug Into Purchase follows the Purchase Wellness Model which incoporates eight essential areas. The goal of this program is for new students to further develop their own awareness with and commitment to wellness, with the following eight areas infused in all of the Plug Into Purchase activities: 

          • Social
          • Environmental
          • Vocational/Occupational
          • Emotional
          • Financial
          • Intellectual/Mental
          • Physical
          • Spiritual
