Stay tuned for the 2016 Welcome Week Schedule.

Welcome Week begins on Friday, August 26, 2016 and runs through the first week of classes.   Welcome Week is full of activities to help you get to know your Purchase  College Home.

We know that students who attend Welcome Week events are more confident when they start classes because they meet new friends, explore academic and co-curricular opportunities, navigate campus and learn about the Purchase College Community.

Most students entering college directly from High School are considered Freshmen. Students who have taken courses for credit after completion of High School are considered Transfers.

However, at Purchase College, there are some circumstances where those rules do not apply!

For Example:
Dance, Film, Theatre Design/Technology, and Acting students who have taken college classes AFTER completion of High School are considered Freshmen. These programs are 4-year programs at Purchase College and thus anyone entering the program will thus start with their 1st year.

If you are an international student (Freshman, Transfer, or  Graduate), please follow the information listed on the International Tab Below.
