International Orientation is a 4-day event that takes place before classes begin. The first 2-days is specific to International students and their needs. This includes sessions on living in the U.S., ESL Testing*, and opportunities to meet your fellow classmates! International Orientation takes place in the Red Room of the Student Services Building.
During the final 2 days, the International students join up with other incoming students at the final Orientation session! When the International students meet up with the incoming students, they will get an opportunity to socialize and meet other students. All students attending will be part of a small group of 20 students with an Orientation Leader (OL) as a guide. The OL will answer any questions that you have about Purchase and also will get you acquainted with other new students.
*Please note that exchange students do not need ESL testing.
