Individual Tutoring Sessions:
One-on-one tutoring is available during
Students may schedule up to three appointments per week, in any combination of face-to-face sessions and OWL submissions, though students may not schedule more than one appointment with the same tutor on the same day. Availability for particular subjects and group sessions depends on tutors' schedules. Please visit https://purchase.mywconline.com/ to schedule appointments.
While you may be able to drop in for an unscheduled appointment, we recommend checking the online schedule at least one day in advance to secure your session with a tutor.
Students should prepare specific questions and bring the assignment and textbook to the tutoring session.
To schedule an evening writing appointment, or to schedule tutoring for a language, music theory or Adobe, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Using the Online Scheduling System:
The online scheduling system can be accessed at https://purchase.mywconline.com/.
To set up an account, the system will ask for your first and last name, major, student ID, and graduation year. Please be sure to fill this information out accurately and thoroughly. Your information will not be shared.
Once you have created an account, you will be brought to the schedule. There are two schedules available: one for face-to-face tutoring sessions and one for the Online Writing Lab (OWL). Be sure to select the correct schedule from the drop-down list at the top of the page before selecting a time slot.
The schedule is organized by day as well as the time slots available for each tutor. White blocks indicate an available appointment, blue indicates an unavailable time slot, and gray indicates a time that has already passed.
Each appointment begins on the hour and lasts for forty-five minutes. On the schedule, each appointment will read as three white boxes in a row. Once your appointment has been entered into the system, the time slot will turn yellow.
You will be asked to fill in the course, the instructor's name, and a brief explanation for what you would like to work on with the tutor. Once you have done this, click "Save Appointment" at the bottom of the pop-up window.
When scheduling a tutoring session, be sure to check the tutor’s “Bio” section at the top of each appointment form. Each “Bio” is located directly under the tutor’s name and will list the subjects they cover.
If you need to cancel an appointment for any reason, simply double click on the time slot you have secured in the schedule, and you will be given the option of canceling the appointment. E-mail confirmations will be sent to your inbox when you schedule an appointment, as well as when you cancel an appointment.
