Peer Tutoring will suspend during final exams. The last day of peer tutoring is on Tuesday, May 7.
During the Fall and Spring semesters, we offer tutoring in many subjects including Writing (in all subject areas), Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Statistics, Arts Management, Art History, Calculus, Pre-calculus, Music Theory, and Math Fluency. The Online Writing Lab is also open for submissions.
During the summer, we offer tutoring in Writing, Reading, Study Skills, and Time Management. Please get in touch with us to schedule an appointment (Monday - Thursday) or submit to the Online Writing Lab.

Students may schedule up to three appointments per week, in any combination of face-to-face sessions and OWL submissions, though students may not schedule more than one appointment with the same tutor on the same day. Availability for particular subjects and group sessions depends on tutors’ schedules. Please call 914-251-3997 or stop by Student Services 213 to schedule an appointment.
While you may be able to drop in for an unscheduled appointment, we recommend calling at least one day in advance to secure your session with a tutor.
Students should prepare specific questions and bring the assignment and textbook to the session. Please make appointments at least one day in advance to ensure availability.
For educational and ethical reasons, assistance with take-home exams is prohibited. If your professor has indicated that Learning Center assistance is permitted, please ask your professor to notify us about this exception.

We offer handouts on a variety of subjects and different aspects of the writing process. Come and browse our library for additional help.
Time Management/Study Skills:
Tutors can also provide helpful information concerning time management and study skills.
