Welcome to the Learning Center!

The Learning Center at Purchase College assists students in learning, developing academic skills, and attaining academic success. The Center offers a comprehensive system of support, ranging from help in a specific course to detailed instruction in writing and study skills. The primary modes of support are peer-based individual and group tutoring.

All tutors are carefully chosen and excel in their specialization. Writing, lower level mathematics, and foreign language tutoring are available throughout the academic year.  Natural Sciences tutoring has moved to the Einstein Corner in the Natural Sciences Building.  Tutoring is also provided for selected courses as need arises. In addition, the staff will assist students in forming a study group for any course the College offers.
