Mission Statement
The mission of the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center (TLTC) is to partner with faculty to enhance teaching and learning at Purchase College, through the adoption of innovative and applicable pedagogies and technologies.
The TLTC is located on the lower level of the Library, across from the Media Resource Center.
Who we are:
The Instructional Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC)
A faculty committee, the Instructional Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC), is charged with reviewing and developing instructional technology projects and priorities, including the acquisition of pedagogically focused electronic resources by the Library. For 2008-2009, the committee is chaired by Dr. Keith Landa, Director of Instructional Technology.
Formed in 2002, ITAC has coordinated the Academic Computing Replacement Cycle. Each year, proposals are solicitred from all acadmeic divisions. These proposals are evaluated, discussed, and prioritized. Available technology funding is then allocated to the prioritized projects. Priority is given to keeping all academic computing facilities on a three-year replacement cycle for workstations, but new projects are also considered.
For more information about the instructional technology at Purchase, please contact Keith Landa at (914) 251-6440.
