The Facilities Rentals Office at Purchase College is dedicated to enriching the educational and cultural life of the College, and to providing a public service to the community. Its services include coordination of local, national, and international conferences at the College, as well as rentals of the College’s facilities to non-university groups.
Rentals clients have access to the two main parking lots on campus, which hold 800 cars each. Part of this level space can also be cleared to accommodate outdoor events in the fall, spring and summer months.
In addition to the College’s many lecture halls, classrooms, and seminar rooms, the theatres of the Performing Arts Center are all appropriate for performances, recitals, keynote addresses and lectures. The campus facilities can accommodate audiences ranging in size from 20 to 1,600.
For those clients interested in the College’s athletic facilities, we can also offer the use of racquetball/squash courts; soccer/baseball/softball fields; our 6-lane, 50-yard pool as well as our state-of-the-art fitness center.
A wide range of instructional resources can be provided, from simple requests to complete audiovisual packages. Campus food services are prepared to meet each client’s need, from a simple continental breakfast to an elegant formal banquet.
During the summer, on-campus housing options are available for small and large groups. The College has a variety of dormitory style rooms as well as newly renovated air-conditioned apartments for rent. Our brand new 180-bed air-conditioned dormitory is well equipped for those hot summer months. Summer housing is on a first come first serve basis, if you know you or your group will need housing, contact the Facilities Rentals Office as soon as your dates are finalized.
