1) Continued replacement of T8 fluorescent bulbs; 11 buildings completed.

2) College hosted bidder’s conference with NYPA for 100MW solar power RFP. W1 & W2 parking lots are a potential site to install a 3.6 megawatt solar generating facility.

3) College is investigating the possibility of installing co-generation equipment in the heating plant that could potentially reduce our electrical energy consumption by 525,000-KWH and our natural gas usage by 42,750 therms.

4) College is testing outdoor LED fixtures for possible replacement of existing metal halide and high pressure sodium light fixtures. LED fixtures being tested use 40% less energy.

5) College participated in 1-hour winter peak-load electric demand reduction event in February. Report below
