The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program is a federally funded program that allows the college to employ undergraduate and graduate students for part time positions on campus.
Work-Study awards average $1,000 per year, and students are paid on a bi-weekly basis for the number of hours they have worked during that time period.*
As funding is limited for this program, preference for Work-Study is given to students who:
- Display the most financial aid need through their FAFSA applications.
- Are returning, and previously held a Work Study position.
*Due to the fact that the students are paid depending upon the number of hours they work, this award cannot be used as a credit on the student's college bill.
