Purchase College offers two types of employment on-campus:

• Federal Work Study - is a Federal fund awarded to students. This is an award given to you based on need as determined by the Federal government. Funds are limited.
• Temporary Service - is money allocated to you based on a department's fund availability. It is based on a department's ability to hire you directly under their own annual budget.

These two options allow you to work for the offices/departments on campus in which you will perform a variety of tasks that may or may not require your specific skill sets. Some departments will require specialized skills. Training is always provided and, if eager and willing, you will be given a chance to learn invaluable new skills sets.
