*Jeanne Nelson is the creator of the PROWESS Workshops – an acronym for Protocol for the Workplace and Etiquette for Social Situations. Through her workshops, presentations and private consultation, she helps students and young professionals to achieve workplace readiness and career success by training them to master the soft skills, which are crucial to excelling in one’s chosen field. A former vice president at BNY Mellon, Jeanne has also worked in the public relations, publishing and broadcasting industries. For nearly half that time, she has prepared student interns for success in the workplace. Jeanne also publishes a weekly blog on her website, entitled, 'The Three E’s – Etiquette, Ethics and Empathy in the Workplace – and Life!'

This workshop has been developed to educate alumni on the use of social media, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, & Twitter (with an emphasis on LinkedIn) for the purpose of Networking & Job Search. The group will benefit both those who do not have any knowledge of social media, and those who would like to learn some helpful tips to more effectively use these tools.
