Phase II has commenced: 60% of the waterproofing around the Library and the accessibility ramp is now complete, and 60% of the planter concrete walls have been poured.

The torrential rain experienced during the week of July 12th, 2010 did cause leaks in the DMZ and in Publication. CFP managed and resolved all of the leaks immediately.

Waterproofing continues as well as starting work on new drains and plumbing on the Plaza Deck (the Phase II area).

The new site furniture for Phase I is finishing installation.

MPCC will begin laying the pavers on the North Arcade, starting from the Social Sciences entrance, toward the Campus Center North entrance.

The scope of the work will include removal and replacement of the existing waterproof membrane, deck drains and piping as required for maintaining a fully functioning deck drainage system.

Enhancements will include new pavements, new site furnishings, improved landscaped areas and lighting upgrades.

Construction to begin as early as August ’07 on Foundation drainage work & Fall ’08 for plaza.
