The Application Process
Students who submit an application for admission to the State University of New York and who answer "yes" to the Educational Opportunity Program question on the application will be considered as EOP applicants. Applicants who are academically eligible for admission will be invited to a personal interview. Students should apply as early as possible as EOP is a limited-enrollment program.
Before an admission decision is rendered, the following information must be filed:
- SUNY EOP supplemental application.
- All transfer applicants must submit transcripts from all previously attended colleges, verification of their EOP/HEOP/SEEK status at the colleges and attend an EOP information session at Purchase College.
- A signed photocopy of Parent's 1040 Income tax form and w2 forms, or if the source of income is from an agency such as Social Security or Social Services, a letter from the agency stating the total amount received in the year prior to admission.
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
When a student has submitted all supporting information a decision will be made regarding the student's admission. If you have any questions or would like further information about EOP at Purchase College please Contact Us.
