The Purchase College campus could be described as the "opposite of ivy;" the modernist movement at full flower. Frankly, our architecture is an acquired taste. Of course, it is what goes on inside our buildings and in the spaces between, that is important. Come experience it for yourself.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

Conducted by an admissions representative during the Fall and Spring Semesters, this 50 minute session geared towards prospective applicants for freshman admission, provides an overview of our academic programs, admissions requirements and application process.  They are offered throughout the academic year on most Mondays at 10:00 am, most Fridays at 10:00 am & 2:00 pm and select Saturdays at 10:00 am.

CAMPUS TOURS

Offered year round, this comprehensive tour includes classroom buildings, residence halls, dining facilities, the library and more!  A Campus Tour follows all Information Sessions.

CANCELLATIONS - Information Sessions & Tours that are cancelled due to inclement weather will be listed on the Admissions main number 914-251-6300.


OPEN HOUSE

Open House is a great way to obtain information about majors, speak to faculty and staff members, interact with current students, and experience campus life first hand.  Purchase College offers open houses in the fall and spring semesters.

SCHOOL OF THE ARTS TOURS

Available during the fall and spring semesters, this tour is for students interested in seeing the classrooms and buildings specifically for the conservatories of Dance, Music or Theatre Arts and School of Art+Design. 

 This tour does not include general buildings such as the dining hall or residence halls, to view these please register for an Information Session and Tour.

Currently there are no school of the arts tours offered.  Please consider attending a general tour of campus.


GROUP VISITS

Designed for groups of 10 or more high school students representing an educational institution or a community agency interested in visiting Purchase College. The Group Visit program generally consists of a presentation by an Admissions Advisor and a guided tour of campus.

TWILIGHT TOURS

Offered June through early August - Seize the opportunity to tour the scenic Purchase College campus during sunset.    Tours start at 6:00 pm and last approximately 1 hour.  No individual appointments are available during these times. 

Currently there are no Twilight Tours, please consider attending an Information Session and/or Campus Tour.


ACCEPTED STUDENT EVENTS:

Visit the campus and expolore the Purchase College community through lectures, panel discussions, presentations, concerts, student showcases and more!
 
Most events are FREE and open to the public!
 
Currently there are no accepted student events.  If you have not yet visited the campus, we encourage you to attend a campus tour.

Admissions Notes

INTERVIEW POLICY
Purchase College does not offer evaluative interviews for admissions except for select programs in the Visual and Performing Arts. These interviews occur during the application process by invitation only.
However, if you are interested in speaking with an admissions counselor you can arrange an informative interview. These interviews must be made in advance on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by calling the Office of Admissions at 914-251-6300.
The lack of an interview will not have an adverse impact on your admissions decision.

CONSTRUCTION NOTE
Purchase College is currently undergoing major improvements for a number of our facilities throughout the campus, including water- proofing, new roofing and overall beautification. Enhancements will include new pavement, new site furnishings and improved landscaped areas that complement the overall appearance of the Campus (take a look at the future face of Purchase). Construction fencing has been installed to insure that we provide complete safety measures. Please pardon our appearance while we undertake these very important facilities improvements.
