INFORMATION SESSIONS
Conducted by an admissions representative, this 50 minute session geared towards prospective applicants for freshman admission, provides an overview of our academic programs, admissions requirements and application process. They are offered throughout the academic year on most Mondays & Wednesdays at 10:00 am, most Fridays at 10:00 am & 2:00 pm and select Saturdays at 10:00 am.

COLLEGE WEEK LIVE
Paying for College
Thursday, January 14th from 3PM – 10 PM
Purchase College is participating in the event “Paying for College” at CollegeWeekLive, the world’s biggest virtual college fair, with hundreds of colleges and universities from around the world.
The event “Paying for College” specifically focuses on information about financial aid, scholarships and grants. You can also watch videos about Purchase College and hear expert advice on application and essay preparation. If you can't visit our campus, stop by our booth at the fair!
IMMEDIATE DECISION DAYON CAMPUS Immediate Decision Day is an opportunity for qualified freshman Liberal Arts & Sciences applicants to participate in a quick, easy and personalized admissions process. You will interview with an admissions advisor, tour the campus, participate in activities with current Purchase students and receive your admissions decision all in one day. To participate in an on campus Immediate Decision Day, you must meet the minimum criteria below: Immediate Decision Day is specifically for freshman Liberal Arts & Science applicants. See a list of Liberal Arts & Science majors available at Purchase College. We do not have any more on campus Immediate Decision Days scheduled for this academic year. Geared towards NYC residents, you will interview with an advisor, receive your admissions decision as well as have the opportunity to receive information on financial aid. This event will be held at the Center for Student Recruitment located in midtown Manhattan on: Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm To participate in the NYC Immediate Decision Day, you must meet the minimum criteria below: Immediate Decision Day is specifically for freshman Liberal Arts & Science applicants. SCHOOL OF THE ARTS TOURS
Available during the fall and spring semesters, this tour is for students interested in seeing the classrooms and buildings specifically for the conservatories of Dance, Music or Theatre Arts & Film and School of Art+Design. See a list of dates when tours are offered.
This tour does not include general buildings such as the dining hall or residence halls, to view these please register for an Information Session and Tour.
OPEN HOUSES
Open House is a great way to obtain information about majors, speak to faculty and staff members, interact with current students, and experience campus life first hand. Purchase College offers open houses in October and May.
Currently there are no Open Houses. Please consider attending an Information Session and Tour instead.
GROUP VISITS
Designed for groups of 10 or more high school students representing an educational institution or a community agency interested in visiting Purchase College. The Group Visit program generally consists of a presentation by an Admissions Advisor and a guided tour of campus.
