Follow these instructions when applying to Purchase College as a Transfer Liberal Studies: adult degree program applicant.

Note: Transfer students who were enrolled in an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), College Discovery (CD) or similar special program at their initial college should review the Educational Opportunity Program portion of this website.

Step 1: Submit your completed application
Note: Completed applications must be received by the deadlines above to be considered.

Send the completed application and a check for $40 (payable to "SUNY APC") to:

Please note: We require an official transcript from each college that you have attended (including college credit taken in high school).

*Students with under 30 credits must request for official high school transcripts, SAT, ACT, and/or GED scores.

Step 3: Submit a 1-2 page essay explaining why you are a good candidate for an adult evening degree program. Include information about non-academic work and life experiences. Also include a list of all colleges that you have attended. If you are interested in the extension site at Rockland Community College, please include that information in your essay. Mail essay directly to:
