All students applying to the Studio Production, Jazz Studies, and Voice and Opera Studies programs must first submit the Audition Request Form and a pre-screening CD to the Conservatory of Music. Students will then be selected for a live, on-campus audition. Only students who are offered a live audition will be considered for admission to these programs.

Studio Production - Spring 2008 Deadline: Submit application and pre-screening CD by October 15, 2007. Live auditions for spring will take place in November 2007.  Fall 2008 Deadline: Submit application and prescreening CD by February 1, 2008.  Live auditions for fall will take place during the months of February and March 2008.

Jazz Studies - Fall 2008 Deadline: Submit application and prescreening CD by February 1, 2008. Live auditions for fall will take place during the months of February and March 2008. Jazz Studies will not be holding spring auditions for undergraduate applicants. Only graduate applicants will be considered for spring admission.

Voice and Opera Studies - Spring 2008 Deadline: Mezzo-sopranos and Tenors only. Submit application and pre-screening CD by October 15, 2007.  Live auditions for spring will take place in November 2007.  Fall 2008 Deadline: Submit application and prescreening CD by February 1, 2008.  Live auditions for fall will take place in February and March 2008

Studio Composition, Composition, and Classical Instrumental Performance - Spring 2008 Deadline: Submit application by October 30, 2007. Fall 2008 Deadline:  Submit application by March 1, 2008.  Admission to these programs is by live audition only. All auditions will take place in February and March 2008.

Note: Students who have not reached their academic potential because of limited financial resources and inadequate academic preparation should review the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at Purchase College.

Step 1: Submit your completed application
Note: You must submit your completed application to the Application Services Center (ASC) in Albany, NY so that the Admissions Office receives it by the deadline above for Fall 2007 admission.

Send the completed application(after it is reviewed by your guidance counselor), a check for $40 (payable to "SUNY APC"), and your Official Transcripts to:

Step 2: Request your official High School transcripts or GED scores, and SAT or ACT scores.
