The Mathematics/Computer Science B.A. Program: Student Learning Outcomes

Mathematics/computer science majors, upon successful completion of the programs, can:

1. Apply mathematical and computing knowledge
2. Problem solve through modeling of real world phenomena using mathematics and computing
3. Communicate mathematical and computing knowledge
4. Assess current technology and future trends in computer science
5. Approach mathematics and computer science research questions from a perspective consistent with the norms of the field.
