The Biology Program: Internships

Opportunities to work in research laboratories, both at Purchase and other institutions, can be arranged for a student in an area of scientific or career interest. Such an experience may be used to satisfy a lab study requirement. Two 3000- or 4000-level biology courses are prerequisites for these internships. Students register for course BIO 3980 and can obtain 1 to 3 credits. This is available every semester. Students need to obtain a biology faculty advisor. Internships are arranged by the student with the Career Development Center.
