Rebecca Oling coordinates the Library Instruction Program, which focuses on training students, faculty, and staff how to frame information needs, create effective research strategies, and use the library's resources to execute those strategies. Librarians teaching in the instruction program also work with classes and individuals on evaluating information they find.  Rebecca is also the liaison for Assistive Technology needs in the Library (coordinating this with Counseling services and computing services on campus). Her collection development responsibilities include literature and Jewish studies.

GRANTS/DONATIONS

Affiliates Grant: "Nights of the Bard" (Fall 2006).  Grant used to purchase the entire BBC Shakespeare Productions collection and features evening lectures with campus experts on these works.

Affiliates Grant: Free Reading Collection for the College Community (Fall 2002). This reading "collection" is housed on the main floor of the Library to entice the campus population to read for pleasure.  Grant monies used to buy display cages.

Morgan Stanley Furniture and Shelving.  This donation was arranged in cooperation  with Morgan Stanley to provide the campus library with a new reference desk, some custom literature displays, computing chairs, ottomans and tables.
