Leigh Dillon has coached actors for television (
Inside Edition, ABC-TV soaps), Broadway, Off Broadway, and film (including award-winning foreign films). She was Jonathan LaPaglia's accent coach for FOX-TV's
New York Undercover and Woody Allen's
Deconstructing Harry and has coached Calista Flockhart, Amanda Peet, Illeana Douglas, Matthew Lillard, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Israeli actors Moshe Ivgy and Ayelet Zurer, among others. She has taught for the M.F.A. Actors Studio Program, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, New Actors Workshop, Classical Stage Company, and Circle in the Square and has coached for
Pace (Diane Paulus, director). Dillon was the dialect coach for the musicals
Floyd Collins (Tina Landau, director) and
Violet (Susan Shulman, director; winner of Drama Desk and Sondheim Awards) at Playwrights Horizons. Dillon has also coached her clients at the NY Public Theatre, American Jewish Theatre, and Primary Stages; has been the accent coach for productions at Portland Stage, Capital Rep., American Music Theatre Festival; and was the text coach for the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
