Franco Colavecchia has designed more than 40 opera productions for companies across the U.S. and in Europe. He has represented the U.S. at the Prague Quadriennale three times, and his theatre/opera designs are in museum collections in San Antonio and at Harvard University. Colavecchia has also taught at Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Colgate, the University of California at San Diego, DePaul University, North Carolina School of the Arts, and the American Opera Center at Juilliard.
