Murray Zimiles has exhibited extensively across the U.S. and in Australia, Scotland, Norway, and France. He was guest curator of the acclaimed 2007–08 exhibition “Gilded Lions and Jeweled Horses: The Synagogue to the Carousel” at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City, and received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities in 2008.
