With special attention to on-camera and vocal performance segments, create a professional looking video piece for TV and Internet viewing under the guidance of a seasoned professional. Designed for anyone who wants to “take the stage”—in acting or public speaking! Explore the elements of acting to free your creative self and increase your confidence. The tools and techniques of the actor’s craft are introduced through a wide variety of exercises, games, improvisations, short scripted material, monologues, and scenes. Use these tools and techniques to forward your acting career and improve your public speaking skills. You are invited to bring a monologue to the first class.

Discover how to make money using your voice! Explore numerous aspects of voice-over work for television, film, radio, audio books, documentaries, and the Internet in this introduction to professional voice-overs. Learn how to prepare the all-important demo and how to be successful and earn great income in this exciting field. Ask questions and hear examples of demos recorded by professional voice actors. Record a commercial script under the direction of a Voicecoaches.com producer! Take the first step in professional voice acting in this fun, informative class. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the course. Space is limited, so register early!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

Frank Ingrasciotta is an award-winning arts educator, acting instructor, stage director, produced playwright, and performer. He has more than 15 years experience teaching adults (both professional and nonprofessional), university-level and grades K–12 acting, musical theatre, improvisation, and playwriting. He is highly skilled as a staff developer in educational theatre, instructing educators with creative tools that integrate theatre arts across the curriculum. His Off-Broadway, critically acclaimed, one-man play, Blood Type: RAGU, is currently touring the country.

Matt Sampson
is an award-winning anchor for News 12 Westchester and Hudson Valley. He was an original member of CNN's Asia Bureau prior to his twenty years with News12. Back in the U.S., he covered Presidential campaigning: from the Iowa Caucuses to election night victory celebrations in Texas. From chasing and trapping "lost" moose in Idaho to covering an aborted coup in Panama including being taken into detention by Noriega's troops at gunpoint, Matt brings a wealth of experience as an anchor, reporter, interviewer, cameraman and editor.
