Summer 2016 Course Calendar

online courses icon SESSION I: May 23–June 10
Three-week online-only intensive courses, including courses that meet Purchase College core curriculum and SUNY general education requirements. Memorial Day, Mon., May 30, is observed as a holiday.

SESSION II: June 13–July 29/Aug. 1
Seven-week courses in all academic areas (both lower- and upper-level). Both online and on-campus courses are available. Most on-campus courses meet twice a week (in the morning, afternoon, or evening on Mon. and Wed., June 13–Aug. 1, or on Tues. and Thurs., June 13–July 28). Independence Day, Mon., July 4, is observed as a holiday.

SESSION III: June 13–July 8
Three-week and four-week intensive courses (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet in the morning or afternoon.
June 13–July 1: Three-week intensive courses (online and on campus)
June 13–July 8: Four-week intensive courses (on campus). Independence Day, Mon., July 4, is observed as a holiday.

SESSION IV: July 11–Aug. 5
Three-week and four-week intensive courses (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet in the morning or afternoon.

Noncredit Courses

We also offer highly popular noncredit youth and precollege programs in the arts, noncredit professional certificate courses, and noncredit personal enrichment courses. These programs and courses have different registration procedures and varying starting and ending dates, which are listed in each description.
