Summer Session

Purchase College matriculated students, adults and visiting students from other colleges and universities, and eligible high school students are welcome in summer session at Purchase College. We also offer highly popular noncredit youth and precollege programs in the arts.

Summer 2014 Course Calendar

online courses icon Session I: May 19–June 6
Three-week online-only intensive courses, including courses that meet SUNY general education requirements. Memorial Day, Mon., May 26, is observed as a holiday.

Session II: June 9–July 24
Seven-week courses in all academic areas (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet twice a week (morning, afternoon, or evening on Mon. and Wed., or Tues. and Thurs.). Both online and on-campus courses are available. No classes on Fri., July 4.

Session III: June 9–July 3
Three-week and four-week intensive courses (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet morning or afternoon.
June 9–27: Three-week intensive courses (online and on campus)
June 9–July 3: Four-week intensive courses (on campus)

Session IV: July 7–Aug. 1
Three-week and four-week intensive courses (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet morning or afternoon.
July 7–25: Three-week intensive courses (online and on campus)
July 7–Aug. 1: Four-week intensive courses (on campus)

Noncredit courses
We also offer highly popular noncredit youth and precollege programs in the arts, noncredit professional certificate courses, and noncredit personal enrichment courses. These programs and courses have varying starting and ending dates, which are listed in each description.
