Summer Session

Adults, Purchase College students, visiting students from other colleges and universities, and eligible high school students are welcome in summer session at Purchase College. We also offer highly popular noncredit youth and precollege programs in the arts.

Summer 2013 Undergraduate Sessions

Session I: May 20–June 7
Three-week online-only intensive courses, including courses that meet SUNY general education requirements. Memorial Day, Mon., May 27, is observed as a holiday.

Session II: June 10–July 25
Seven-week courses in all academic areas (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet twice a week (morning, afternoon, or evening on Mon. and Wed., or Tues. and Thurs.). Both online and on-campus courses are available. No classes on Thurs., July 4.

Session III: June 10–July 3
Three-week and four-week intensive courses (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet morning or afternoon. The previously scheduled electrical shutdown on 6/21 has been cancelled, therefore classes will be in session.
June 10–28: Three-week intensive courses (online and on campus)
June 10–July 3: Four-week intensive courses (on campus)

Session IV: July 8–Aug. 2
Three-week and four-week intensive courses (both lower- and upper-level). Most courses meet morning or afternoon.
July 8–26: Three-week intensive courses (online and on campus)
July 8–Aug. 2: Four-week intensive courses (on campus)

Noncredit professional certificate courses and personal enrichment courses have varied starting dates.
