Scholarships for Adult Hispanic Students

Due to a generous grant, the School of Liberal Studies & Continuing Education is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for two adult Hispanic* students that will fully fund enrollment in the Social Media Marketing Certificate Program.

Eligibility Criteria & Application Information

• Age: Age 22 and older
• Ethnicity: Hispanic origin
• Income: Financial need (submit copy of tax return)
  unemployed or underemployed
• Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED (proof required)
• Computer literacy: Ability to work online
• Commitment: Complete the program during the Spring 2013 and/or Fall 2013 semesters
• Essay: 500 words describing your interest in this program and your plans upon completion
• References: Two from supervisors and/or teachers, and one from a revered member of your community
• Application due: August 2, 2013 (for the Fall 2013 semester)

The scholarship value is approximately $2,600 and includes the following costs: registration fee, course tuition, More Card, and parking permit.
