New York City Area National Portfolio Day
at Purchase College, Saturday, November 17, 2012

***PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO DOWNED POWER LINES FROM HURRICANE SANDY, VISITORS SHOULD TAKE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE TO CAMPUS:

From the Hutchinson River Parkway, take exit 28 for Lincoln Avenue. From points south, turn left onto Lincoln Avenue. From points north, turn right onto Lincoln Avenue. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn right into Pepsico's grounds and follow the marked roads. Exit through the main Pepsico gate and cross Anderson Hill Road onto campus. Turn left at the fork and head to Parking Lot W-1. PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION CONCERNING ROAD CLOSURES NEAR CAMPUS.


Follow the signs and staff member directions to the registration tables in the lower lobby of the Performing Arts Center. All parking will be in campus lots W1 and W2. Registration for the event will begin at 9am (doors WILL NOT be open to any building before, even for those pre-registering - please plan accordingly). The location of the schools, the tours, etc. will be provided during registration.

PRE-EVENT ACTIVITIES

  • Art+Design Building Tours - An in-depth look at the facilities offered at the Purchase College School of Art+Design - Tours depart every 10 minutes, between 9:30am-11:30am
  • Campus Tours - This comprehensive tour included classroom buildings, residence halls, dining facilities, the library, and more - Tours depart every 10 minutes, between 9:30am-11:30am
  • School of Art+Design Information and Q&A Session with the Director at 10:30am

PORTFOLIO REVIEWS run from 12 NOON to 4pm. As is the case with all National Portfolio Days, reviews are granted on a first come, first served basis.

OPTIONAL PRE-REGISTRATION
: If you pre-register and bring a printed copy of your confirmation email, you will not need to fill out any paperwork and can head to the "Express Registration" anytime after 9am when arriving on campus. There you will receive a map and locations of schools. You are then invited to wait outside for the doors to reviews to open (at 12pm). You are also invited and encouraged to take advantage of the tours and info sessions available that morning.

Please note, doors to enter any building WILL NOT BE OPEN UNTIL 12PM, rain or shine. Please plan accordingly.
