Joan Kruegerbiography
Joan Krueger, pianist, maintains a private coaching studio in New York City and is also active as a recitalist and accompanist. In 2004 she was named Classical Singer’s Coach of the Year. She has performed as a guest artist at many universities and recital series across the country, as well as being the annual pianist for the Gerda Lissner and the Jensen Foundation Competition. She has served as assistant conductor for Sarasota Opera and has played master classes for Elly Ameling and Gerard Souzay through her association with the Mostly Mozart Festival. She has also accompanied such Metropolitan Opera artists as Cecilia Bartoli, Paul Plishka and Vinson Cole. Ms. Krueger received her B.M. from Michigan State University and her M.M. from the University of Michigan.
