The Purchase Dance Company, composed of BFA students, presents concerts in The Performing Arts Center on campus and in New York City, participates in festivals on and off campus, and tours nationally and internationally. The company represents a standard of excellence and a diversity of work ranging from reconstructions to contemporary, modern, and classical ballet repertory to new works created especially for the Purchase Dance Company.

New works and classics in ballet and modern dance are prepared and rehearsed for performance each year. The choreography is licensed from major artists or created by faculty and guest artists.
