PRESIDENT THOMAS J. SCHWARZ TO PARTICIPATE IN VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN CONFERENCE

The conference will be held at The Performing Arts Center from 8:30 AM to 12 noon. This second annual conference is co-sponsored by My SisterÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Place and features Mario Bosquez, co-anchor of New York ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œCBS News This MorningÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â and author of ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œThe Chalupa Rules.ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â President Schwarz will give opening remarks along with Westchester County Executive Andrew J. Spano and New York Football Giants star Tiki Barber, who will give a video welcome. Admission is free and complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served. Hundreds of men and women are expected to gather for a morning of interactive education about domestic violence and strategies involving menÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s involvement in the solution of this pervasive and devastating problem. Trainers Ted Bunch and Tony Porter will share their expertise on menÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s responsibility for ending violence against women and will challenge well-meaning men to think about and address the issue.
