The game will be played in the Salem Civic Center in connection with the Division III Men's Championship. Highlights of the weekend include a championship team banquet, doing a community service project, participating in half-time activities at both semifinals and interacting with local Special Olympians.
The NCAA and NABC joined together a year ago to hold the first senior all-star game for Division III, replacing a consolation game played in previous seasons.The Reese's brand has been a sponsor of the Division 1 Final Four and has expanded its sponsorship to Division II and Division III all-star games.
"This is a dream come true for me," said Billups. "I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to represent Purchase College. I'd like to thank my family, my coaching staff and my teammates for a great senior year. It is very exciting to play another game as a member of the Panthers."
Billups won his second Skyline Conference Player of the Year award this year, lifting Purchase to consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and back-to-back league crowns. The Panthers lost to Cabrini in the second round of March Madness after defeating Hartwick in the opening -round game-a first for the program.
