Todd Coolman & Purchase Jazz Orchestra Play Top Clubs in April

Professor Todd Coolman will take the Purchase Jazz Orchestra and the student Jazz Combos on the road this coming April and May to perform at some of New York's hottest jazz clubs.

The tour begins on Monday, April 11 when the Purchase Jazz Orchestra appears with special guest artist, saxophonist Eric Alexander at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Lincoln Center in New York City.  Shows are at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

Monday, April 18 the Purchase Jazz Endeavor (jazz combo) will perform live on WBGO 88.3 FM. WBGO will celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with the WBGO Next Generation Festival.  The live broadcast is from 2-3 PM.

Wednesday, April 20 the Purchase Jazz Orchestra performs with special guest, and Blue Note recording artist, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase     at  7 PM.

Monday, April 25 the Purchase Jazz Orchestra appears at the Blue Note in New York City with guitarist John Abercrombie.  Shows at 8 PM and 10:30 PM.

Friday, April 29 the Purchase Jazz Orchestra recording date at Bennett Studios, Englewood, NY from Noon-8 PM.

Friday, May 6 the Purchase Jazz Orchestra appears at The Falcon in Marlboro, NY.  Shows at 7 PM and 8:30 PM.
