Jon Faddis to Perform at Tanglewood Jazz Festival

PROFESSOR JON FADDIS TO PERFORM AT
TANGLEWOD JAZZ FESTIVAL

The Tanglewood Jazz Festival will feature Professor Jon Faddis and the Jon Faddis Quartet in Ozawa Hall on September 6 at 8 PM.  His concert is called “A Triumph of Trumpets” with special guests Wallace Roney and Sean Jones.

The three-day event will feature a number of jazz greats such as Paquito d’Rivera, John Pizzarelli, Kenny Barron, Regina Carter, and others.

A conductor, composer and performer, Faddis is Director of Jazz Performance at Purchase College and guest lecturer at Columbia College in Chicago. 

As a trumpeter he possesses an unparalleled range and full command of his instrument.  He also regularly leads master classes and clinics worldwide.
