Jason Cutmore's "Piano Music By Manuel de Falla" at Purchase College October 20th

World-renowned pianist and Purchase College alumni Jason Cutmore returned to his alma mater on October 20 to perform his new CD, Piano Music by Manuel de Falla. Cutmore’s debut CD of the same name was released October 1st on Centaur Records.

The performance took place in the Conservatory of Music Recital Hall.

Originally from Edmonton, Canada, Cutmore studied at the Purchase College Conservatory of Music. Since graduating, he has performed all around the United States and inaugurated the Westchester Philharmonic Orchestra’s “Tuning Up” series. He has also performed in Germany, Lithuania, India, and Hungary.

Manuel de Falla was a classical Spanish composer born in 1876 in Cadiz, Spain. He began performing at the age of nine, and his music lives on through modern-day pianists such as Cutmore.
