Purchase Alumna Edie Falco Wins Her Third Screen Actors Guild Award

Actress Edie Falco, ’86, received her third Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Carmela Soprano on The Sopranos. Ms. Falco received her award in a televised ceremony on January 27.

A graduate of the acting program in the School of the Arts, Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film, she has also received three Emmy Awards for her role on The Sopranos as well as two Golden Globes.

She has appeared on Broadway in ‘night Mother and Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, and in such films as Freedomland.

Most recently she made a multi-episode guest appearance on 30 Rock.
