Participated in a virtual opera performance proving artists create despite challenges.
“I participated in a remote ensemble project with Festival Napa Valley. The project brought together 126 musicians to perform “Va, pensiero” from Verdi’s opera “Nabucco.”
“This famous opera chorus is also known as the ‘Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves.’ Historically, it has been a unifying, patriotic anthem.
“It was wonderful to participate in something of this scale with a virtual orchestra, chorus, and conductor, and prove that artists will continue to create despite the challenges of the pandemic.”
